Sunday Stuff

Sunday is a good day to get out of the house and take advantage of what London has to offer. Many weekend activities are aimed at older children but most will work for little kids too. Following is a list of recommended Sunday activities.

Horniman Museum & Gardens
What: World of Stories, a session inspired by the museum’s exhibitions that bring the collections to life through storytelling
When: Sunday afternoon (two sessions)
Where: Forest Hill
Age: 5 plus
Cost: free

What: Create & Make, a drop-in workshop for families that focuses on design and making things
When: last Sunday of the month
Where: Bermondsey
Age: 5-11 years
Cost: free with museum admission adult £13, child 6-15 years £6.50

Maritime Museum
What: Discover Sundays, a workshop to explore our connections to the sea
When: Sunday 11.30am-1.30pm & 2-4pm
Where: Greenwich
Age: 2-11 years
Cost: free
